I’d like to tell you about several “if” rules. You won’t for sure be surprised with all of them. I’m sure they are familiar to you, but I would like to sum up everything above stated. So, your man has serious intentions, if:
1. Your photo is on his desktop splash screen or takes an important place in his documents, on his office table or on his bedside cabinet. If he cannot help watching the image of you even being at work, then accept my congratulations, it’s the true love!
2. If you give him sweet trinkets as presents he is really delighted with it, and does the same things to you in return. By the way, he never keeps your presents in the drawer; they are all next to your photo.
3. He lets you into his life. It means that you can be in his house not just to spend the night there, but at any time you want to. Do you even have a key? Say not so! He managed to introduce you to almost all of his friends and relatives, and you have seen all the secret photos, which no one of his friends’ girlfriends could see without entering the password, and you heard the stories that nobody is allowed to know. They are such taletellers, those men!
4. He is really interested in the way you live. He is always ready to come and see you, tries to find the pretext for coming for a cup of coffee or anything. If he is not the gigolo, then it is a good sign. Does the fact he wants to come to your hen party irritate you? But it doesn’t show his distrust to you, but only the fact he really cares about your relationship. If he wants to meet your girlfriends and know you better, don’t refuse to let him do so and don’t get angry. Think in your turn, wouldn’t you like to attend his stag party?
5. Your relationship changes for the better. You feel that you become closer, you feel that he becomes more open with you, and more relaxed, you feel that both his body and his soul belong to you. The intimacy gradually replaces the passion, and you feel that you care about each other, not just for yourself.
6. You are not afraid to be funny. You never get angry if he calls you a sloppy Joe. You in your turn can afford to criticize him and tease him jokingly, and you will have fun together. He calls you by your last name!!! Oh, he at least remembered that! Say not so! With that awful sclerosis he has…
7. You can use any of his things. You can wear his clothes; you can use his computer or his mobile. You can even take his collection of CDs and other trifles, and he won’t keep telling you all the time: “Just don’t break anything!”
But if he wasn’t able to understand that to be happy he needs nothing more but you, don’t get upset and don’t try to change yourself. The matter is not that something is wrong about you, or that you behaved in a stupid way. He is just not ready for the serious relationship. I don’t really think you will enjoy being a pioneer in this situation. It is not so easy to be able to stand all that sort of things; you must really love this person and get ready for being offended and abased. But I’m afraid even if you succeed here, you won’t be happy anyway.
Living together means to be ready for compromise. The decent man won’t appreciate your sacrifice, because the first thing he needs is a friend and an equal partner. We often confuse compromise with concessions and complete rejection of our desires and of what we really are, and demand our beloved half to do the same. Lots of women consider the word “compromise” to be the curse, but it just means the search for the solution which will be good for both of you. Don’t be afraid to tell about your desires, and don’t forget to ask him about his ones. I’m sure that people who love each other will reach a compromise anyway. Love each other and be happy!
