There is one taboo for a real lady: relationship with married men. As a rule, when men find a woman on the side, they do not hide their marriage. It is easier, because, at least, you don’t have to lie to one of your women. But there are also such men, who don’t want to confess to their lovers that they have faithful wives and kids. These guys know dozens of tricks to keep their marital status in secret. Let’s find out more about these tricks in order not to be caught in a net by insidious men.

Outward signs

The easiest way to find out if a man is married or not is to look at the finger where the wedding ring should be. Even if there is no ring, there should be certain marks (pale skin, for example). If you don’t see any marks, it is still too early to relax, because it would be too easy. Some men do not wear rings at all, pleading discomfort.

Phone conversation

His mobile phone may tell you many interesting things. If he often seizes a moment to stay alone during your romantic dates, most likely, he calls his wife and tells her some inspired lie. The same is true for the following situation: someone calls him, he goes out and then runs away in the middle of your date, pleading important negotiations or unexpectedly arrived uncle. Often and unexpected business trips are not uncommon for married men, and sometimes they forger where they were a month ago and get confused in their statements.

Here is how you can check man’s marital status: call him in the evening, at 10 o’clock, for example. If his phone is turned off, he doesn’t answer the telephone or even the SMS, you can consider him a married man. The same is true for the following situation: when he stays at your place for the night, he turns his phone off.

At the end of the phone theme, let’s speak about one more method. If you manage to stay with your man’s phone in private, you should just call yourself from his phone and look how he named your contact (and don’t read his SMS, it is dishonorable). If there is “plumber”, “Barbara, bookkeeper” or even “Michael” instead of your real name, it is obvious that he tries to hide you from someone (definitely, not from his mother).

Territorial question

It is natural that a married man won’t be able to stay at your place for the night on a regular basis. So he will invent different excuses like a dog that should be walked or an unfinished dissertation. Haven’t you stayed at his place up to now? It means that the sleeping accommodation is not vacant there. And, most likely, it is not a dog or a pile of scientific literature, but a young woman and a couple of kids of primary school age.

But there are exceptions from the rule. A married friend of mine rented a bachelor flat and spent five days a week there quite legally. His family lived in a suburbs house, so he motivated his strong-willed decision to live separately by inconveniency of travelling from home to work and vice versa. On the other hand, he spent weekend with his wife and kids. So if a man refuses to spend a romantic weekend together, and you spend the weekend alone, he is definitely married and spends a romantic weekend with his wife's father on the ranch.

You should also become alerted if any attempt to take him to a crowded place fails. He doesn’t even suggest spending time in a company of his friends and goes to your friends unwillingly. But he is glad to spend an evening tete-a-tete on your territory of in one and the same tried-and-true place. There is a possibility that he is afraid of meeting his friends, because he doesn’t need unnecessary questions.

Presents

Here is another way of finding out if a man is married or not: give him intimate presents. The best present is a trinket with some inscription like “L+R = Love”. He will attach this trinket to his bunch of keys not to offend you. If the trinket remains there by the next meeting, it means you are the only one for him.

If your beloved man behaves suspiciously, don’t try to find excuses and invent dozens of versions why he doesn’t invite you at his place and doesn’t spend weekends together with you. Be brave and put the question point-blank. Of course, you may not like the answer, but, at least, you won’t feel betrayed and used. And you won’t lose time with a man, who is not capable of making your life better.
